String Quartets:
String Quartet (1995- is a 12 min. 40 sec. piece, consisting of 5 movements. The first and last are dynamic and spirited. The second and fourth are slow moody lyrical ones. The middle movement is a brisk animated march.
String Quartet (1969) - has 4 movements. The first is a classical sounding forceful polytonal work. The second is a slow brooding one, while the third is a straightforward little fugue. The last is a vigorous passionate finale.
Organ Pieces:
Fantasy on "Praise Ye the Lord, the Almighty" (2002) - is a solo pipe organ piece based upon the 17th century hymn.
A Celebration (2003)
Meditation (2004)
Rejoice (2004))
Fanfare for Organ (1983) - is a resounding brassy flourish appropriate for use as a processional or recessional.
Six Little Organ Pieces (1974).
Clarinet Pieces:
Music for Solo Clarinet (1983) - has 3 parts. It begins with a fast and full of gusto Statement, is followed by a slower cantabile Aria, and concludes with a happy jazzy Finale.
Music for Clarinet and Piano (1983) - is a melodic and rhythmic 1 movement duo, with both fast punchy sections as well as slow expressive ones. This piece works well for intermediate-advanced recitalists.
An American Fantasy for clarinet & piano (2000) - is a 5 1/2 minute work based on American folk tunes. It is meant for a student clarinetist along with an advanced piano accompanist.
Other Chamber Pieces:
Fanfare - for Brass Quartet - Duration: 23 seconds
Quintet for Woodwinds (1970) is an animated driving intense 2 movement work for flute, oboe, clarinet, french horn and bassoon.
Songs for Soprano and Piano (1975) - is a set of 3 short vocal works with piano accompaniment.
- Not Any Sunny Tone - on a poem by Emily Dickinson
- Fire and Ice - on a poem by Robert Frost
- Song - on a poem by H.D.
Ready to Roll (2001) - This is a crowd-pleasing jazzy funky show-stopper for brass quintet. It incorporates the harmonically engaging and rhythmically diverse modern elements of my classical music with the rock/jazz styles of my pop arrangements. Although solos sound improvised, everything is written out. The MP3 is simply an audio recording of the midi file generated by my notation program. It is scored for 2 Trumpets, French Horn, Trombone and Tuba.

Fugue for String Orchestra
