Piano Prelude - is an energy-filled piece. It is approximately the length of a Prelude by, and is based on a motive from one by, Bach. Twelve Meditations (2003) - 12 connected moods - Duration: 5min. 31 sec Daydream - consists of three contrasting movements: Morning Music Afternoon Music Night Music An American Fantasy - is a 5 1/2 minute work based on American folk tunes. Acoustic Alligator - is a short rhythmic and melodic emphatic driving solo. Ballad - Having played pop tunes for years as a freelance musician, this piece is meant to be my version of a slow melodic ballad. Hudson River Rag (1990) - While practicing and learning many Scott Joplin Rags and while living across the Hudson River from New York City, I wrote this playful animated rag. Beginning (1992) - Beginning is built on a short melodic fragment framed by relentless percussive chords. Interlude - is a short slow moody haunting movement. Tango - inspired by the machismo & sensuality of Argentinean tango music, this is a passionate haughty melody is played over a forceful tango-like accompaniment. December 1982 - is an intense powerful repetitive rhythmically-changing piece. Fantasy (1982) - consists of three short connected quiet singing dreamy sections. July 1984 - is a persistent fast and ferocious piece based on a continually evolving motive. For Me (1982) - is a lively fast 21 bar mostly 5/4 piece. Prelude (1969) - is a 13 measure slow one of a group written while in college. Mid Eastern Dance (1982) - is a happy lively repetitive pulsing high-energy piece with a belly-dance music flavor. Wellfleet 1992 (Piano Duet) - for one piano-four hands, is a wild mostly difficult 2 minute work that will knock the audience's sox off. Fantasy 1982 No.1 - a 2 page - slow lovely 1 min., 38 sec.piece. Andante (1981) - Duration: 1min. Piece on Yellow Paper (1980) - a Coplandesque short 1min. 49 sec. piece.
